Dr. Shark (No) Sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads.

At least Dr. Shark manages to do better than Dr. Evil's Sea Bass. Congrats to secret agents Tom and Mickey for scoring either 50, 54, 48, 53, or 51 points, depending on which time they counted. In 2nd place was team Y, agents Cecily and Paul playing as Yuri and Yoko respectively with 49 points. And finally, back to the academy for recruits Adam and Ezra whose deathly fear of sharks prevented them from gathering a single piece of evidence.

Dr. Shark Wish I could make it

Wish I could make it tonight, but hopefully you can run through this sometime when I see you again. It looks interesting and two of my favorite designers.

Tsuro A very easy to pick up and fun game! 10/10

For a quicker game, this is a great one and one to pick up VERY easily! I played with 7 people who had never played the game and it was great for all of us and super easy to teach. I really can't add to the description that is above here since it goes into a lot of detail about the game, but I can definitely recommend it! One of those great easy to learn, tough to master games.

Tragedy Looper A deep, anime version of a clue on steriods! 9/10

Tragedy Looper is an interesting game that I tried out with a friend the last time I've been down to Spielbound. We originally picked it up because it looked interesting and we loved the anime art style, little did we know that we would be in for a treat.

Tragedy Looper is a game from 2-4 players where up to three players play detectives trying to figure out what the last player aka the scriptwriter aka game master is up to. There are different scenarios that the game master can choose from and pit it against the player(s) and the players have to go through and figure it out. During a certain script, players will have a certain amount of days to prevent tragedies that the scriptwriter is trying to cause. If the players fail to stop ANY of the scriptwriters plans, they LOSE...

However, players have the ability to loop back through time and try to figure the scheme out a certain amount of times depending on the script. It's really hard to explain in this mini-review until you play it for yourself. I will say it is a little hard to pick up at first, but there is a recommended script for new players so everyone can get used to how the game is player and I HIGHLY suggest you do it if you haven't played it before. Even with 2 players, it was a blast and my buddy and I were hooked, we could only imagine how fun it would be with 4 players!

Besides the very high learning curve to the game, I'd still give it a 9/10. The tutorial game was a little rough for us but when we got our hands on a more difficult script, we got the hang of it and even losing, I had a ton of fun with it. If you're into deduction type games, I would highly recommend this one!
