Unspeakable Words is most unique word game you'll ever play. In most word games, the value of letters are determined by how often they are used in the English language. Not so in Unspeakable Words. Instead, the value of letters are determined by how tentacle-y the letters are. When players play a word from the assortment of letter cards in their hand, they must make a sanity role, hoping to roll greater than the tentacle-y-ness of their word. If they fail, then they must lose one of their five cute little Cthulhu pawns. The winner is the first player to score 100 points or the last person to remain sane.

While most word games rely on a player's knowledge of language, Unspeakable Words is further unique in that it also involves quite a bit of strategy as players must balance their desire for high point words with the odds of making their sanity checks. This, coupled with some adorable art (the "P" card is especially fantastic), makes Unspeakable Words an easily approachable and engaging casual game for anyone.

This game is all about managing your money, and being a titan of industry. You got to buy power plants, but their fuel,buy your way into cities, and then rake in those profits. However, your friends are yuoiur competitors, and they are looking for the cheap route also. You got to plan your moves, strike quickly, and be cunning. This is a game that my group plays a lot, and we never tire of it. The best 2 hours you can have with your friends.

The only downside is the rulebook, is hard to follow, and don't always make sense. It feels like someone ran the rules through Google translate. However, wants play a few rounds, it all makes sense

This is a game that is easy to pick up and play. Its got wonderful strategy, not to complicated, and fun for all friends. This game doesn't take long to play, and its more of a relaxing game you play on a lazy Sunday while enjoying some coffee. There is strategy, but its more about spending time with your 3 friends, and enjoying yourselves.

If you are new to board games, or been playing for years ticket to ride will not disappoint. Its a light hearted game all about connecting cities, and completing routes. It's that perfect blend of strategy and luck, that will keep you fighting to the bitter end. Strongly recommend it for those who are looking for an easy to pick up game that can be played in an hour.
