Confusion: Espionage and Deception in the Cold War Stratego meets Hanabi

An interesting twist on two-player abstract games, Confusion doesn't let you know how your own pieces can move, only your opponent knows initially. Instead you have to puzzle each pieces' allowed movement out with trial and error, plus deduction. This is a very simple game to teach/learn, but game play tends to be very deep, depending on how much thinking and logic you want to put into it.

Dead of Winter: A Crossroads Game Still figuring it out

Hi Geoff, this will be our first week of having demos and I don't know if there's a good way for people to sign up/register for them. If you're coming from so far away, I think it makes sense to be able to register, though members will have priority. No $ needed to be part of the demo and play what is being taught. For most times, it's $5 for a day pass, ~$20 for a month, and ~$150 for a year. We're still finalizing our fees for this based on the feedback we got from Kickstarter, but all membership comes with extra bonuses, including additional 2 day passes per month to share with your friends (an annual membership would start with 24 free passes, a $120 value). Thanks for your interest!

Firefly: The Game Shiny for Browncoats

The upside to this game is it's incredibly thematic, and a great match for those of us still waxing nostalgic over Firefly. The downside is from a pure game-play perspective, it's really not that exciting. It's a pick-up and deliver game that can drag on for a long time, with very little player interaction. For fans of the show, this is worth trying at least once, but I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone just looking for a game to play.

Resistance Similar to Werewolf but with

Similar to Werewolf but with more metagame aspects. I've had some of the most fun playing games while playing Resistance. Definitely one to play with friends.

Definitely requires multiple play-throughs to grasp what is important to focus on. Fun game. Offers a lot of variety.
