Blockbuster Returns

Blockbuster Returns, the sequel to Big Potato’s 2019 The Blockbuster Game, can be played as a standalone or combined with the original game for big-budget fun!

Blockbuster Returns features four brand-new categories of Movie Cards (Heart Warmers, From Another World, Not for Kids, and Remakes & Reboots) and new Head-to-Head Cards. To play, open up your VHS box, flip open the gameboard, and split into two teams.

First, face off in the Head-to-Head Buzzer Round. One player from each team tries to think of a movie title to match the description on the Head-to-Head category card (e.g. “Movies where someone got lost”) before the 15-second timer runs out, hitting the buzzer to put the ball back in their opponent’s
court. The first person to run out of time loses this round.

Next, in Triple Charades Jeopardy, it’s time to see how well you know your movies! Each player gets three Movie Cards and has 30 seconds to get their team to guess all the movies using one of three methods— using just one word, quoting a line from the film, or acting it out. When a team gets one right, they add the card to their collection. The first team to grab two cards from all four categories wins!

The game contains 100 Movie Cards, 30 Head-to-Head Cards, and 1 gameboard. “Big Potato Buzzer”available for free download on the App Store or Google Play.

Can be combined with The Blockbuster Party Game for a mega-game.

toast... a game of awful scenarios

With its captivating gameplay, this game actively engages players and sparks their creativity. From the very first round, Toast Card Game hooks you with its outrageous scenarios and unexpected twists. Moreover, it seamlessly blends laughter and camaraderie, fostering unforgettable moments. Whether you’re an experienced comedian or simply love letting loose, this game guarantees endless amusement. So, get ready to embrace your inner comedian and embark on an uproarious journey of pure hilarity and entertainment.

Sound Box

Sound Box is a co-operative party game for 4 to 7 players in which you listen to your friends performing weird sounds as they try to make you guess all sorts of concepts!

At the beginning of each round you place Sound cards on the board and draw a numbered token from a bag to discover which one is assigned to you. Take your time to come up with the perfect sound to represent your card: you will have to imitate that sound to suggest your concept to the Guesser. If you are the Guesser, instead, your job will be to listen to the sounds performed by the Soundmakers.

At the start of the timer, all Soundmakers start to perform their sounds...simultaneously! Get ready for 13 seconds of hilarious acoustic extravaganza! Have you ever heard the sound of a giant monster attack fighting a guitar hero on a stormy night during a tennis match? Well, something like this may definitely happen to you!

When the timer runs out, the Guesser tries to find as many Sound cards as possible, one at a time! There are more cards on the board than sounds made by the Soundmakers, will you be able to find them all? Each correct guess gets you 1 point, but if you make a mistake, the round ends immediately.

A different player will be the Guesser each round. If over subsequent rounds you gain enough points to reach the end of the Soundtrack, all players win. But beware, each Sound card that is left unguessed at the end of each round will make you lose life depending on the numbered token it is associated to, and if your Heart marker reaches the bottom of its track, all players lose!

Rabble

Rabble is a party game for two teams played across three rounds. Teams alternate 45-second turns and compete to correctly guess all of the words on their team’s Rabble Cards the fastest. Each team guesses the same cards each round but each round has restrictions on the clues that players can give teammates.

Round 1 - Words, sounds, and gestures are allowed but players can’t say the card, part of the card, or spell the card.

Round 2 - Only one word per card but players can’t say the card or part of the card.

Round 3 - No words or sounds, only gestures.

Challenge Cards place additional effects on players (and make them do hilarious things), increasing the difficulty of completing each round. The same Rabble Cards are used each round so players need to remember the words and clues from previous rounds.
