Resistance How sneaky are you?

I was hesitant to play The Resistance at first, primarily because of the name (I dunno why). I was with a group of 4 other friends, and we wanted to play a game we had never played before, so we asked for a staff member's recommendation. Someone in our group had already played this before and was enthusiastic, so we gave it a go!

I'll say that pretty easy to learn how to play, for those of you that don't want to read a 14 page manual (we've all been there). I think this game is best played with either people you know pretty well and aren't afraid to mess around with and/or give shit. Many laughs will be had. However, I could also see this being a good ice breaker game for people that don't know each other that well.

I look forward to playing The Resistance again.

De Vulgari Eloquentia Great!

I was just in Rome and almost bought this - seemed appropriate to play there. I'm looking forward to learning how to play! (may have +1, too)

Planning on being there and bringing my friend Steven. We both both played GoT without the expansion.

Age of Conan: The Strategy Board Game Crom!

Hello! I'm in town for at least another month, helping my elderly parents get the family homestead ready for sale so they can go into a retirement home. I grew up in South Omaha, but have spent the last 25 years in Seattle. One of my local game stores back home had a copy of Conan in their "loaner game" collection, and I always intended to give it a try. When I finally made time to do so one day, I found out they had auctioned off some of the older titles in their loaner inventory to free up space! (Some lucky so-and-so probably got that whole box of wonderful minis for $10!) Anyway, I would love to have a chance to try the game, and I've been meaning to stop by Spielbound, so sign me up. As far as I know, I'm free that weekend. If it turns out that I'm being drafted to do some major household repair, I'll let you know. If you wish, you can contact me on my cell at (206) 972-9908.

Letters from Whitechapel One of the best games at Spielbound

This game is simply amazing. It is like a very grown up version of clue, but not really. It is another game where you can pull it off the shelf, read the rules in a short period of time and start playing. From there you will pick up all the strategy and possibilities this game offers. I really was blown away by this one.

Dungeons & Dragons: Conquest of Nerath Board Game Great wargame!

This is a great game! It is really only playable with 2 or 4 players (4 is best, by far). It is fun because you end up teaming up 2 on 2 so it is a combination of player elimination and co-operative. You start the game right in the face of your opponent, so you don't have any time to build up forces! You have to go on the attack right away! If you like these kind of games, you should try it out for sure.
