Milito

Refight battles between the greatest armies of the Ancient World: Republican Roman, Carthaginian, Alexandrian Macedonian, Achaemenid Persian, and more!

Milito is a card-based, diceless wargame by Martin Wallace that puts you at the head of an Ancient army, making the key tactical decisions that will win or lose you the battle. Commanding a combination of troops unique to your own army, you'll play unit cards to take control of the battlefield. Skirmish with light troops to hold the enemy at bay, use your cavalry's maneuverability to your advantage, and advance your units of well-armored infantry to drive the enemy away. Flank attacks and army-specific leaders provide further tactical depth. Choose the right moment to commit your best units into the battle line, and capture three terrain areas to win the game.

Each card in your hand represents one of your army's units, which has the same strengths and weaknesses as its historical counterpart. Units are rated for speed, attack strength, defense strength, and other modifiers based on battlefield performance. Leader cards offer combat bonuses and have their own unique abilities — but be warned that not every leader card is an Alexander or Hannibal!

World Shapers

Outwit your opponents to gather resources from the four elements — air, earth, fire, and water — in order to invigorate your world building power and create the grandest of grand worlds!

World Shapers is a card drafting game in which 1–4 players compete for elemental source materials in order to create and shape new worlds! Over the course of just a few rounds, you must carefully draft the necessary cards, outwit your opponents, and take advantage of powerful synergies. Utilize power crystals to enhance previously collected cards.

Each turn you must choose one card from those available to you and either add it to your collection, exchange it for a different card from the common pool, or discard the card to gain a power crystal.

At the end of the final round, plays score their cards by adding the creation points provided by each card in their collection.

Endangered

The march of humankind’s progress threatens the survival of many species. It's up to you and your team to save them!

Work with your fellow conservationists to save tigers and sea otters from extinction. Influence the UN to save the animals and stop environmental destruction. If four UN ambassadors vote yes on the resolution then the players win. But until the vote takes place, players need to keep the destruction at bay, and keep the animals alive!

Each turn players will roll the dice they can allocate to action cards. After actions are taken, mating pairs will have a chance to procreate, and destruction tiles will enter the board, possibly killing already scarce animals.

Play as the Zoologist, Philanthropist, TV Wildlife Host, Lobbyist, or Environmental Lawyer, each with a special ability.

Time is short. Can the animals be saved while also influencing the Ambassadors' votes? Or will threatened animals be lost forever?

Goblin's Breakfast

It's a well known fact that Goblins are aggressive nasty little brutes, and that bigger goblins ALWAYS pick on smaller ones. It's also a well-known fact that the only way to get to BE a bigger goblin is to eat a good breakfast. This makes breakfast in the Goblin Warren a highly competitive and somewhat dangerous meal...

In this card game, players take the role of Goblins at the Breakfast table, scrambling to eat as much food as possible and to prevent other players from doing the same.

Illustrated by Travis Hansen, the game plays from 2 to 6 players, (more with multiple decks.) It takes about 5 minutes to learn, and 15 minutes to play. It includes about 60 cards.

To start the game, a few cards are dealt out to the center table, and on each turn, players can do one of the following four things.

A, They can take a food or weapon from the center of the table.
B, If they have a bigger weapon than another player, they can steal another card from another player's hand.
C, If they have a food card in hand they can eat it, scoring it.
D, They can play a special action card from the center of the table, immediately playing its effects.

The result is a fast-paced, light-hearted arms race, with quickly shifting strategy and chaotic fun. After the deck runs out, the player that eats the most food wins!

It should be noted that this game was a finalist for the 2014 Ion Awards at the SaltCon board game convention in Salt Lake City.
