Thunderbirds

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the cult TV show, the co-operative game Thunderbirds features the iconic Thunderbirds machines and a high octane world full of disasters for players to come to the rescue.

Set in the year 2065, Thunderbirds follows the exploits of International Rescue: a secret organization committed to saving human life, secretly founded and funded by the millionaire Tracy family, with the motto: ‘Never give in, at any cost!’. International Rescue has a host of technologically advanced land-, sea-, air-, and space-rescue vehicles and equipment ready to launch at a moment’s notice.

Racing to the rescue from a secret island base beneath the luxurious home of the Tracy family somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean, International Rescue defies government spies and criminals who want the secrets of their incredible machines for their own. To combat this threat, Lady Penelope, the Thunderbirds’ aristocratic English secret agent, and her chauffeur Parker lead a network of agents to uncover those behind the disasters caused by deliberate sabotage.

A criminal mastermind known as “the Hood”, operating from a temple deep in the Malaysian jungle and in possession of strange powers, often engineers events to allow him to spy on the Thunderbird machines with the goal of selling their secrets to the highest bidder.

The iconic Thunderbirds are designed by the Tracy family’s close friend “Brains” and are assigned to each of the five Tracy brothers:
- Thunderbird 1, piloted by Scott Tracy – a hypersonic rocket plane used for fast response and rescue-zone reconnaissance, and as a mobile control base.
- Thunderbird 2, piloted by Virgil Tracy – a supersonic, VTOL carrier which transports their major rescue equipment in detachable pods.
- Thunderbird 3, piloted by Alan Tracy – a single-stage, vertically launched spacecraft
- Thunderbird 4, piloted by Gordon Tracy – a utility submersible for underwater rescue, launched from Thunderbird 2
- Thunderbird 5, manned by John Tracy – a space station in geostationary orbit that monitors calls for help from across Earth.

Finally, Lady Penelope has the iconic FAB 1, driven by Parker – a pink, amphibious car

Thunderbirds is a cult 1960s British science-fiction television series, created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. It was produced using a combination of marionette puppetry and scale-model special effects, which was dubbed “Supermarionation”. Two series, totaling thirty-two 50-minute episodes, were produced, along with two films using the same techniques.

Players will work together using Thunderbirds characters and vehicles to complete rescue missions and save the day. For instance, to help complete the ‘Attack of the Alligators’ mission card, players will try to assemble Thunderbird 4 and Virgil in North America. All the time, being mindful of the influence of The Hood.

Star Trek: Trivia Game

Trivia game containing questions about Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. Answer a question correctly, and receive the color coded insignia for that series. The first player to collect an insignia from each of the four series and correctly answer a final question (other player's choice) wins. Questions can be answered either with three multiple choice options or, for a more difficult variant, without the multiple choice. High quality pictures adorn the front of each trivia question to provide a clue regarding the questions on the card.

Special spaces make for more interesting game play than a typical trivia game

Borg Spaces: When landing here, you must defend your most recent insignia. If you answer the question incorrectly, you lose your most recent insignia.

Starship Spaces: When landing here, you can challenge an opponent for a specific insignia they already have. Answer a question of that series correctly, and you steal your opponent's insignia.

Q Continuum Spaces: When landing here, if you correctly answer a question, you may then move anywhere on the board. If you answer incorrectly, you must move to the closest Borg Space and defend your most recent insignia.

Wormhole Spaces: When landing here, you may choose to move to any of the wormhole spaces on the board and continue your turn. After you have collected one insignia from each of the four series, you must pass through a wormhole to answer the final question in order to win.

Fangface

Fangface is a roll and move game, with simple interactive elements, based on the cartoon series of the same name.

Players spin a spinner in order to move around the board. Some squares are safe while others cause you to move back. The most common square on the board is "throw fingers" where two players randomly put out a number of fingers. If the total is odd, the active player moves back while if it is even, he/she stays on the square. There is also an element where you must guess in which hand a player is holding a token. During the game, a special "moon card" can be used on a player to move them back on the board to a specific square.

The first player to make it to the End space is the winner.

Muppet Show Game

From the box:

ACT 1
It's showtime! And Muppet-mania has broken loose on stage. Our playful performers scurry about, bobbing stage left, weaving stage right, in a frantic, frenzied race to the footlights.

ACT 2
Muppets, Muppets everywhere! And you can move them all. You control the chaos, with a little "frog-imagination" from Kermit. Using his script and double spinner, direct the Muppets and their sets to their proper positions for curtain call.

FINALE
If you get your Muppets there first, the applause belongs to you.

Clue: Simpsons Edition

The classic detective game! In Clue, players move from room to room in a mansion to solve the mystery of: who done it, with what, and where? Players are dealt character, weapon, and location cards after the top card from each card type is secretly placed in the confidential file in the middle of the board. Players must move to a room and then make an accusation against a character saying they did it in that room with a specific weapon. The player to the left must show one of any cards accused to the accuser if in that player's hand. Through deductive reasoning each player must figure out which character, weapon, and location are in the secret file. To do this, each player must uncover what cards are in other players hands by making more and more accusations. Once a player knows what cards the other players are holding they will know what cards are in the secret file. A great game for those who enjoy reasoning and thinking things out.
